Responsibilities:
- Review and summarize medical records prepare medical summaries.
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents related to medical cases.
- Conduct research on medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and experts to gather information for legal cases.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures to support legal arguments.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive medical information.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of nursing home operations and medical documentation.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
- Experience in patient care or critical care settings is beneficial.
